Zimbabwe’s representative in the African Champions League, FC Platinum will play CNaPS of Madagascar in the preliminary round.
The first leg in Madagascar will be played on 27/28 November while the return in Zvishavane is scheduled for 4/5 December.
Both clubs were eliminated at the preliminary stage in this year’s tournament which ends tonight.
CNaPS won their home tie against KCCA of Uganda by 2 goals to 1, only to lose 1-0 in the reverse fixture and they missed out on away goals’ rule.
Platinum on the other hand lost both legs, 3-0 away and 1-2 at Mandava stadium.
Experience from the disappointment of an early exit and notable reinforcements should help the two-time Premier Soccer League champions improve from their previous attempt.
If Platinum get past CNaPS, they will commence their revenge mission against Club Desportivo 1De Agosto away on 14; 15 & 16 December.
The return is set for 21; 22 & 23 December, and the winner will qualify for the group stages.
