Zimbabwe’s representatives in the CAF Orange Confederation Cup, Harare City are through to the next round of the continent’s Inter-club second tier competition.
The Sunshine boys came from behind and managed to beat Madagascar’s AS Adema 3-1 at Rabamanenjara stadium in Mahajanga on Sunday.
Harare City will proceed on a 6-3 aggregate win.
Raphael Manuvire, Edwin Madhananga and Kuda Kumwala were on target for Harare City in the second half while AS Adema’s Ramahaison Bernadin had given the Indian Ocean Islanders lead in the 38th minute.
Meanwhile, Chicken Inn, Zimbabwe’s sole representatives in the CAF Orange Champions League crashed out of the continent’s prestigious tournament after a 0-2 defeat at the hands of South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
The Gamecocks who traveled to South Africa with a 1-0 lead failed to defend their victory and were severely punished by The Brazilians.
