The National Sports Stadium hosts double CAF interclub action this weekend as Ngezi Platinum Stars and Caps United seek to progress to the first round of the Confederation cup and Champions League respectively.
Ngezi Platinum will enter into the 2pm kick-off encounter against Pamplemousses on Saturday with a slight advantage of an away goal scored by skipper, Liberty Chakoroma in Mauritius last weekend and a nil all draw would suffice to see the Chibuku Super Cup champions through.
The case is different for Champions, Caps United, who forced a goalless draw away to Lioli; they need to score at least a goal while completely shutting out Lioli.
Caps United vs Lioli kicks off at 1500hours on Sunday 19 February.
Zimbabwe Football Association spokesperson, Xolisani Gwesela revealed the gate charges for both matches and he appealed to supporters to go to the stadium in numbers to cheer their teams to victory.
“Gate charges for both matches are US3, 5 & 10 for the rest of the ground, Upper Grand Stand and VIP respectively.
“We appeal to all football followers to come to the stadium to support Zimbabwe’s interclub representatives.
“Wishing Ngezi Platinum and Caps United all the best,” he said
Both teams are still in with a chance of making it through to the next round and they can secure it by winning with any margin.
