Smashing start for Warriors

NORTHWEST, South Africa – It was just the perfect start for the Warriors as they cruised to a comfortable victory in their opening group match at the Cosafa Castle Cup in the North West Province of South Africa on Monday.
This was their 49th match in this competition, and, under veteran and two time Cosafa Castle Cup winning coach, Sunday Chidzambwa, there was no doubt they would start the match as favourites.
But they would not have an easy ride to their opening goal as it only arrived two minutes before the breather, from Amazulu striker Ovidy Karuru.
The former Kaizer Chiefs man completed his double in the 64th minute, settling the Warriors’s nerves.
Co- skipper Ocean Mushure smashed in the third in the 77th minute.  It was all smooth sailing for Chidzambwa’s men as they rose to the top of a group that also features Seychelles and Madagascar.  And there was even time for a late icing on the cake, with Blessing Majarira  making it 4-0 in the 92nd minute for a well deserved second half perfomance.
Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa was delighted by the result but emphasised that the Warriors could have scored more.
“Although the boys could have scored more, I am happy about this result. My focus now is on the next game against  Madagascar,” he said during the post match press conference.
Zimbabwe will now clash with Indian Ocean islanders, Madagascar, on Wednesday in what appears to be a group B decider. The match is slated for Royal Bafokeng stadium at 1700 hours.

always start with the scoreline and the name of the opponents. If you read your article it doers not say who zimbabwe beat.
