Coach Rosemary Mugadza has named a provisional squad of twenty-five players to prepare for a first-round FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia in March.
The team commences preparations on 25 February in Harare, twenty-six days before the first-leg away on 22 March. The return at Barbourfields is set for the 27th.
Mugadza retained the core of the squad that defeated Malawi in the opening phase of the qualifiers.
Having overcome Malawi on a 2-1 aggregate score line in the preliminary round, our Under-20 team set up a first-round clash with Ethiopia.
