WARRIORS READY FOR THE COSAFA CUP

Warriors interim coach, Sunday Chidzambwa says his troops are ready for the 2017 Castle COSAFA Cup which kicks off in the North West province of South Africa on Sunday.

Chidzambwa’s charges begin their campaign with a game against Mozambique at Moruleng stadium on 26 June.

The match kicks off at 5PM.

“My mission is to lift the COSAFA Cup. I have a capable team. These boys are very youthful and are ready to deliver.  I have done that twice in the past and nothing can stop us,” the veteran coach told the association’s website from Sun City hotel where the team is camped.

The Warriors share a joint record of four COSAFA titles with Angola, Zambia and South Africa.

Zimbabwe is in Group B of the 2017 Castle Cosafa Cup alongside Mozambique, Seychelles and Madagascar.
