Lloyd Mtasa and Rahman Gumbo have been replaced as senior men team assistant coaches in the shake-up made by the executive committee.
Sunday Chidzambga remains the head coach but he will now be assisted by Tonderai Ndiraya and Bongani Mafu.
Ndiraya comes in to the senior team courtesy of his position as the head coach of the national Under-23.
The goalkeepers’ coach remains unchanged in Brenner Msiska.
The new team’s immediate task is to assemble a team to play Congo at the National Sports Stadium in on 24 March and get a positive result to qualify for AFCON finals in Egypt.
Wellington Mpandare shall remain in his position as the Team Manager while Nicholas Munyonga replaces Soman Mudariki as the team doctor.
Eddie Chivero and Robert Matoka have been appointed as the Team Liaison Officer and Head of Security respectively.
Appointments were also made for the national Under-23 team to work with Ndiraya. Mandla Mpofu and Lizwe Sweswe are the assistants and Tembo Chuma is the goalkeepers’ coach.
On top of his role with the senior team, Chivero will also be the Under-23 team manager.
The Under-23 team also has two impending AFCON qualifiers away and at home to Mozambique during the 18 – 26 March FIFA international break.
Meanwhile, Maimba Mapuranga has been appointed as the association’s protocol officer.
