ZIFA President, Dr Phillip Chiyangwa has extended sincere condolences to the Chandamale family and the Dynamos Football Club following the passing on of the club’s board member and founding father, and ZIFA Harare Province Chairperson, Owen Chandamale.
Chandamale died in Harare on Friday afternoon after a short illness.
Speaking to www.zifa.org.zw, Dr Chiyangwa had the following to say.
“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden death of Chandamale, our Harare Province Chairperson, General Assembly member, and one of the founding fathers of Dynamos. This is a huge loss, not only to the Chandamale family, but to Dynamos and the football fraternity at large.
“He discharged his duties diligently both at the province and at Dynamos and will be fondly remembered as a gentleman who was ready to impart all his football wisdom to the new breed of administrators.
“To Dynamos, we say soldier on and to the Chandamale family we say please find comfort in the good arms of the Lord during these difficult moments. We are indeed with you. May His Dearest Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
